The Pipes of Boston…

For me, nothing invokes a sense of pride and makes me think of our history more than the sounds of bag pipes on Saint Patty’s day. The pipes immediately make me think of all those who came before me and the struggles they endured.

Life wasn’t always so easy for the Irish here in America, but through hard work, strong families and rich traditions….we carved out a slice of the American dream. Our faith has been integral in this experience, it’s carried us through the darkest of times. Faith in our selves, faith in our new country, and faith in the Trinity, taught to us with a shamrock by our beloved Saint Patrick.

We celebrate this day with the world and proclaim that on Saint Patrick’s day “everyone is Irish”. For good reason….we also believe that if we could persevere, anyone can, so long as your virtues are in place.

Cheers!
