The Iran Situation…

A peaceful resolution to any potential conflict where our sons and daughters are asked to put their necks on the line is always the most desirable option. But today I had a very interesting conversation with a gentleman who served in the Israeli Army. Not only did he serve, he was an officer, born and raised in Tel Aviv. When I asked him what he thought of this “Iran situation” his answer was short and profound.

“You never have to make peace with your friends, only your enemy. The world has a habit of letting history repeat itself but Israel is constantly trying to stop it from repeating itself.

I’m sitting here 14 hours later still thinking about what he said….and I don’t think I will ever forget it.
