The Georgoulopoulos brothers have sold Ashmont Market. I am going to miss these guys. I wish them nothing but the best and would like to thank them for all they have done for the neighborhood over the years.
My advice for the new owners…..dont change a thing!
Go to Foodies in the South End and then look harder at the Ashmont Market. Betcha if the new folks tried to upscale things a bit it would improve their business. No one’s ever gone broke thinking better of Dorchester consumers.
I walked in the other day and they were gone! I may not be OFD but they are my corner store. Sad day
