Good Friday at Florian…

Boston is a land of many traditions, every neighborhood in every corner of the the city has them and some date back ages. In Dorchester, one of those traditions goes back 54 years and is THE right of passage for those kids participating in the youth boxing program at the McKeon Post….the Good Friday boxing match at Florian Hall.

With that rapid pace of gentrification throughout Boston and the subsequent sterilization that comes with it, keeping these traditions alive is more important than ever.
