Danny’s Tavern…

Here’s a book I think ALL Dot Rats should read… Danny’s Tavern by Dr. Tom Melvin.

I have to confirm with my pops but I believe Danny’s was a spot my grandfather used to frequent. I just started it over my vacation and it’s shaping up to be a very good read.  Hats off to Dr. Melvin for enshrining the stories and struggles of people living in Dorchester during the depression all the way up to 1975.
