The healing continues…

So I’m getting a coffee at the Morrissey Dunks yesterday when I notice some folks sitting on top of the makeshift memorial for the 3 young folks lost nearly 2 weeks back. I approach, explain who I am then ask if it’s ok to snap a quick picture….I get the thumbs up.

Having been through a long healing process myself and understanding some of the dynamics….you don’t ever want to feel like your loved ones are forgotten. You tend to go through a wide range of emotions, all of them a necessary experience to truly heal. I just wanted to reach out to the family members (one of whom was there yesterday) and let them know none of these kids will be forgotten.

Ahh yes….the nod….the sign someone is absolutely wrecked on some sort of opiate (Percs, Heroin, Oxy). I saw these 2 Sheriffs (of Noddingham) last night coming out of a store. Windows down in the rain….radio pounding….one girl with a lit cigarette almost burning her fingers. I snapped them out
