So the good folks over at the Dorchester Reporter published this piece today that says 7 Eleven will not be moving into the Hollywood Video building at Gallivan and Granite. This is fantastic news….no need to have a 24 hour hangout for a bunch of trashbags while the rest of us are sleeping for work in the morning. Go buy blunt wraps and Funyuns somewhere else…

Why not donate some money to help create a fund that grants capital to small businesses. This fund is set up to foster business and jobs…it’s not about huge banks gouging the little guy as they always do. Create Jobs for USA is a partnership …
Starbucks is by far one of my biggest vices. I like the way Howard Schultz runs the company. I enjoy the folks who work there…they are treated well, have benefits and it shows. I mean how many times have you ordered coffee at Dunks and the Brazilian taking the order looks at you like your an immigration officer. I drink it on occasion but lets face it….it’s toilet water compared to Starbucks. The barista’s usually greet you with a smile and the coffee is incredible….so I don’t mind spending a little extra. But here is Howard explaining something very near and dear to my heart. US manufacturing and what we need to do to get the country back on track. He wants corporations to stop funding campaigns….AMEN!!
