For Menino…

For Menino…

He was a tough, unapologetic Bostonian that loved his city. He guided Boston through two of the most dynamic decades in history. Helping it evolve with emerging technology and transforming the way Boston did business with its residents. All this while dealing with ever changing domestic security threats

A Band Called Death…

A Band Called Death…

So I have been hearing great things about this flic for a while now and while sitting on the couch last night trying to catch my breath because I’m bloated from the 9000 calories I consumed, I see it pop up on my Netflix menu….it

Next Gen Navy…

Next Gen Navy…

I knew the military was in transition….but it’s truly amazing how fast it happens. Check out the first successful launch of an unmanned X-47B aboard the USS George H.W. Bush today. This signals a new chapter in our Navy’s history. Bravo to the amazingly brilliant

Dot Rat Baseball – 1957

Dot Rat Baseball – 1957

This is the time of year I start craving baseball. You know all those huge fields all over Dorchester? At one time, they were used for baseball instead of soccer. The Boston Park League was so popular at one time, 5000 people would show up

If you read Dennis Lehane you know he’s one brilliant Dot Rat. I’m a huge fan of history so watching him give this little tour based on his book The Given Day was awesome. I’m not 100%, but I thought I read somewhere this was going to become another movie.

Victory…

So our very own Billy Traft made us extremely proud last night. Bill won by TKO after just one round his opponent would not come out for round 2.  Here is a short video of his walk to the ring. Thanks for giving the neighborhood a very positive shot in the arm!

Also, a very big congrats to Danny O’Conner. I’m sure Framingham is very proud today.

If you have any video of the fight…send it my way.

History will be made…

History will be made…

What is a Dot Rat? Some would rather not be associated with a dirty rodent or a snitch. The term goes back 50 or 60 years in these parts….but there are so many people who ask this very question. What is a Dot Rat? Dot
