Really…What’s Next?

Lincoln Chafee the Governor of Rhode Island has a 17 foot spruce put up in the rotunda of the State House. It’s all decked out with lights and ornaments. But he wants it to be called a “holiday tree” NOT a Christmas Tree. Really? Well I’ll tell you what Lincoln, you can call it what you want but I’m going to call it what it really is, a Christmas tree. There’s not a Christian alive that wants to make apologies for their faith….especially around Christmas. Besides…Christmas is about a man that had such an impact on the world he is recognized by all faiths as a rightous dude!

In reality all you’re doing is making a fool of yourself and pissing everyone else off. Personally, I don’t care what other people celebrate….the holidays are about family and reflecting about the things in life that matter. I have to say though, if that’s a holiday tree, then the Menorah and Kinara must be……
