Don’t pretend like some of you folks didn’t get a little sad.
It may have had it’s problems but we all have a story about Ups n Downs (or the Pony Room for you older folks). It was a small part of our history going back decades. My grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and all their friends had few pops at the Pony Room. As a matter of fact my buddy Steve even met his wife there back in 2000 (I know – incredible).
Hopefully the place turns into something nice!
I kind of want that sign for my house…..
I grew up in Dorchester. I know personally this will be a great place to service the community. My business is going in that space.
What kind of business?
Medical Equipment .. Special to cancer patients.
I have a strong background. I am proud to expand my business in the town I grew up in… I’m sure at best the community will welcome my business and the NEW face of The Pony Room.
The only place I ever saw a fight broken up by a waitress, who then told the fighters they could stay if they kept drinking.
who ever remembers leaving the pony room…lol…great memories.
I worked the Pony Room for a long time as a musician.. It was a great place to work.
My brother used to entertain there back in the seventies and went by the name of Dave Spencer
