The Dot Day Dance…
Dot Day has traditionally been a time to catch up with old friends, tie a buzz on, eat a burger or 5 and catch the parade. But then you have other Dot Days were you go overboard and maybe drink a bit too much (we have …
Beats, Rhymes and Life…
A Tribe Called Quest….
Play any one of their songs and it can put me back to a simpler time in my life. Whether it was my first house party, or attending school at the Woodrow Wilson, even my first Dot Day (with Budweiser). Their music can usually bring a smile to my face. To me, they where almost like a Led Zeppelin of hip hop music. They took the genre in new directions and broke new ground with every album. And just like Zeppelin, I never had the chance to see them live. So, when their documentary came out a couple of years back I was absolutely pumped. Now through the magic of the internet I can share it with my fellow Dot Rats. This is the full length movie….

What could go wrong?
Over the years I have seen some pretty creative marriage proposals, and they usually go off without a hitch. But like any good Dot Rat, I believe in a back up plan. Perhaps a well planned escape route if the lady says no. This Portuguese …
Street Dogs Loyalty…
It’s performances like these that make this song feel as fresh as the day it was released. The Street Dogs are gearing up for a busy summer. On top of their release of “Rustbelt Nation” on May 21st…..they have also put together an effort to …
Next Gen Navy…
I knew the military was in transition….but it’s truly amazing how fast it happens. Check out the first successful launch of an unmanned X-47B aboard the USS George H.W. Bush today. This signals a new chapter in our Navy’s history. Bravo to the amazingly brilliant …
My Swarovski Girls…
I want to send a big shout out to Kaitlin and Alex for being so Dot Rat friendly today! Like every other red blooded guy, I think shopping bites it, plus I’m extremely picky. Strolling around South Shore Plaza getting lightheaded from all the Ass Axe body spray is not my idea of a good time. But, these two attractive young ladies helped make the experience stress free and were friendly during the process…and I appreciate that!
Alex (Blondie) wanted me to pass some love along to a friend of our blog….Mr Southie Bad Boy himself….Jay Giannone. @jay_giannone – Turns out she went to the same High School as my man Gio Dee.
Kaitlin (Brunette – and I hope I’m spelling her name right) totally confessed that she loves herself some Dorchester boys! Can you blame her? I mean we are straight magic…just sayin.
So with that in mind, I suggest all my fellow young brutally handsome Dot Rats pay my Swarovski girls a visit. Just mention dotrat.com and all your sh*t will be 70% off………I’m kidding!
Thank you ladies!
Mister Malcolm drops some knowledge…
While shooting a TV advertisement in Dorchester, John Laing, candidate for Mayor of Boston was graced with the smooth dance moves of a fellow Dot Rat, Mister Malcolm. It’s evident that Mister Malcolm is just solid gold, straight magic and any other figure of speech …
