Ashmont Train…

Ashmont Train…

Yeah…this is my new favorite song. Do you know how long I have been waiting for an Ashmont Train song? It’s pretty obvious this crew is from Alewife or something but the golden dude’s moves are ridiculous. Enjoy!

Bigg Dee is a Dot Rat!

Bigg Dee is a Dot Rat!

That’s right….this guy feels a bit like Sean John this morning….well minus the 400 million dollars.  I wouldn’t even care if the roof blew off my house because my boy Bigg Dee is sporting a Dot Rat “DMC” shirt in his latest video with Chris

Give Ray a shot….

Give Ray a shot….

In my opinion, Ray LaMontagne is going to end up as one of the finest American songwriters of this generation. His body of work hasn’t caught up to the likes of Dylan or Taylor, but given his creativity to this point, it’s completely feasible we will be hearing of him 30+ years from now. Not bad for a kid from New Hamphire who almost didn’t take up music because of a sour relationship with his musician father. He’s been covered by various artists over the past few years which I guess is an incredible compliment.

Ray’s albums can be listened  to from front to back which is rare these days. I suggest you go find yourself an overstuffed leather chair and a killer set of headphones, maybe a glass of your favorite beer or wine, and give this guy a spin. It’s a good way to decompress and it’s perfect fall music….
