The Street Dogs are gearing up for a busy summer. On top of their release of “Rustbelt Nation” on May 21st…..they have also put together an effort to help the Richard Family Fund. Knowing the lead man on a friendly basis, I can honestly say this comes as no surprise.

Nobody can question Mike McColgan’s loyalty to the neighborhood.

On their new site indefenseofdorchester.com the boys are selling one bad ass tshirt to benefit the Richard Family.

I ordered mine…I suggest my fellow Dot Rats do the same.

But, these two attractive young ladies helped make the experience stress free and were friendly during the process…and I appreciate that!

Alex (Blondie) wanted me to pass some love along to a friend of our blog….Mr Southie Bad Boy himself….Jay Giannone. @jay_giannone – Turns out she went to the same High School as my man Gio Dee.

Kaitlin (Brunette – and I hope I’m spelling her name right) totally confessed that she loves herself some Dorchester boys! Can you blame her? I mean we are straight magic…just sayin.

It’s evident that Mister Malcolm is just solid gold, straight magic and any other figure of speech for a bad ass you can throw at him. This is the type of guy I want at my Dot Day party pouring beers off a keg.

He’s all over the place, he’s having awakenings….and it’s fun to watch him rant. Reminds me of about 80% of my friends! Be warned,  he likes to swear but I’m sure my fellow Dot Rats can appreciate that…..enjoy!

Through their efforts and the generosity of the businesses and patrons that took part, they where able to raise close to 3000 dollars in raffle and bake sales for the Richard Family Fund. The company is planning more fundraising efforts at their other locations in Brighton and Medford, once those are done I will post the final numbers.

Thanks to my good friend Tommy MacDonald from the WGBH show Rough Cut for making a donation and hanging out with the crew. And also a big thanks goes out to the BPD for coming by to lend the “Blue Goose” and a raffle prize.
