Techie Tuesdays…

Techie Tuesdays…

Do you have a ton of music that your afraid of losing if your PC ends up busted? Music libraries these days can become huge, and a ton of work to maintain. I recently started using Google Music, which lets you upload all your music up to 20,000 songs. They keep it safe for you and give you access to it so you can stream it to any computer with an internet connection or you can stream to your smartphone. They are still working out the kinks but I enjoy it so far. The interface is intuitive enough so that even those with computer phobia can easily get through the menus. I see this easily competing with ITunes within the next few years and I can totally see Google Music being offered as a feature in a car stereo system much like Pandora is now.

Keep your eyes on it….

Random Thoughts…

Random Thoughts…

– I can picture Bill O’Brien’s wife calling him after the game and saying “It’ll be O.K. honey, I updated your resume and I called the realtor”.  Let’s be honest here Billy, there’s only a handful of people who can yell at Tommy Terrific and

For all those involved…this always seems like a great time. You would never catch my out of shape ass running down Boylston in a banana hammock…but after 20 drinks anything is possible. This is just the type of event to get bundled up grab your

Gave proof through the night…

Just installed another one of these remote starters last night. When I hit the start button for the first time, not only did it start, but little American flag rolled out of the vent and the stereo played the Star Spangled Banner…. I cried a bit….just sayin.

Another Funky Jew Friday…

Another Funky Jew Friday…

Back by popular demand….this week we feature Mac Miller.  I have been listening to this kid for a couple of years now and he’s just blowing up. Mac just released blue slide park a couple of weeks back and I dig the album, but I’m personally a fan of his

Have you ever wanted to beat up a girl?

Have you ever wanted to beat up a girl?

Probably not, unless your another chick of course. But this skank may actually change your mind. She has absolutely no clue about the chain of command and that our soldiers follow orders that come from the commander in chief regardless of their own personal opinions

Another fallen Jake…

Another fallen Jake…

Firefighter John Davies lost his life today, just doing his job. Which by the way is to run into a burning building. I can honestly say, this is something I wouldn’t do. It’s just another reason why firefighters should get all of your respect. Unlike police officers, you never hear ” where’s a firefighter when you need one” They are quick to respond and they do not hesitate to get the job done. Whether it’s to stabilize someone before the paramedics arrive or take a chainsaw to a wall so they can extinguish a blaze. From what I understand, Firefighter Davies was a 17 year Veteran of the Worcester fire department. He leaves behind 3 sons,a mother and a fiancee. I hope they are all in your thoughts and prayers today. The word hero gets tossed around way too much these day’s, it should be reserved for people like John who truly was a hero and did his job in the finest traditions of those who fell before him.

The Massachusetts Map…

The Massachusetts Map…

Really? Murders and stuff?  Listen, I’m neither a murderer or stuff. Dot has it’s share of problems for sure. But you can never discount how valuable violence is to the media. I have seen days where a bar fight makes the headlines, then others where a double
